Stories of the olive tree
No two olive trees look alike. Similarly, every tree move is unique, involving different circumstances,
locations, problems and costs.
Here are some picture stories behind just a few of our tree
saving operations.
-
One large tree and only
three days to move it. The Story of Joan
of Arc, so named because her chances of survival seemed so
slim.
-
The
Story of Adem, the tree which refused to be moved
-
The Story of Jean,
a tree saved by a phone call from an elderly lady in Kyrenia.
-
Working with school
children is a lot easier and rewarding than dealing with adults.
Here's a story involving one of the schools we worked with (Kyrenia
American
University).
-
Building a road through an
olive grove? Not all doom and gloom on this occasion. The Zeytinlik Cemetery
new road scheme.
